Beyond Our Walls 2010 is our bold initiative to continue what we started two years ago, but with hopes, dreams and plans for an even greater impact. In order to reach our $3 million goal and fully fund all of our targeted projects, it is important that each individual in our church is involved. A Tractor for Casa Hogar Vida
We want the orphans and the people who work and live in Casa Hogar Vida to have a beautiful place to call home. But that takes a lot of work mowing the lawn, cleaning drains, moving trash, and the construction will go on for 2 to 3 years. After some research we decided to purchase a tractor that could serve in all of these areas. A Kubota tractor was purchased for $18,000 plus $1,500 shipping to Choluteca, Honduras.
Oven for Bakery in Limon, Honduras
An electrical conveyor oven was purchased as part of a process to speed up the production at the bakery. The oven was made in El Salvador, and was purchased for $2,400.
