2010-2011 MOPS Registration
Click the links below to register for the 2010-2011 MOPS season. The cost for the year is $50 if you pay before or at our first meeting on September 16th, $60 as of September 17th, or $35 if you wish to only attend half of the year. This year we will be meeting on Thursdays, with morning and evening meeting options. The morning session runs from 9:45-11:15 and the evening is 6:45-8:15. While we encourage you to attend the same meeting time, you are welcome to switch between the morning and the evening meetings. Please register for morning or evening, whichever will be your primary meeting.

What is MOPS?
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is an international organization that “exists to encourage, equip, and develop every mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman, mother and leader in the name of Jesus Christ.” Women who are pregnant or have young children (birth through kindergarten) are all invited to join MOPS. CedarCreek MOPS is a group of women who come from all walks of life, but share one desire: to be great moms! Come and experience genuine community, mothering support, personal growth and spiritual hope as we help one another become better moms to make a better world.
What makes MOPS unique?
MOPS isn’t just another playgroup. We do so much more than just socialize and have fun (though we do have lots of that!). MOPS seeks to equip you as a mom to become the best mom you can be through a strong support network of women who are in the same stage of motherhood as you are, through relevant speakers and discussions catered to meet the unique needs of mothers of young children.
Our Meetings:
Our group offers meetings the 1st and 3rd Thursday morning of each month (September through May) in the morning from 9:45-11:15 and in the evening from 6:45-8:15. We begin with time to socialize with other moms. We have a short time for announcements, followed by a speaker or creative activity. We always leave plenty of time at the end for discussion to let you get to know the moms at your table on a more personal level.
In addition to meetings, we plan regular special events either with our kids and/or families or as “Moms Night Out.”
Childcare:
Childcare is provided every meeting, through the MOPPETS program. We provide a fun, nurturing environment for your kids to play and learn through a Christian pre-school-style of teaching. Care for toddlers and babies provided in the nursery. Toys and surfaces in the children's room are regularly cleaned. In addition, there is a minimum of two childcare workers in each room with the children, and all of the adult workers are screened through criminal background checks. We strive to make our childcare not only fun, but incredibly safe! Babies, or children not comfortable in their childcare room, are welcome to stay with you during meetings as long as they are not disruptive during the speakers.
